“My back had been bothering me for years. Monmouth Spine put me on an extensive training program with many different types of exercises. Sure enough I saw results. I used to wake up with pain but right now I have been pain free for two months. The office is great. The people here are great and I am glad I committed my time to coming here.”

I came to Monmouth Spine for the first time about three months ago. I came here because I had some serious neck issues where I couldn’t pull my neck as far back as I wanted to. I had a lot of pain and stiffness in my shoulders. I also had some knee pain when I first started receiving treatment. I arrived at Monmouth Spine thinking that this wouldn’t do much. I just wanted to check it out. After 3 months of treatment, I have full range of motion back in my neck. I can stand fully upright again. My shoulder pain has been decreased significantly and the knee pain has disappeared. I feel like a whole new person. I am on my way back to proper posture and bone structure. My whole experience at Monmouth Spine has been awesome!

The staff is amazing! They are over the top. I work for the post office as a letter carrier, so I have to be at my job until all the deliveries are complete. I come in at any time and the staff is really open to working around my schedule.

I have always been a proponent of good nutrition and exercise. Having suffered from migraines for many years, I discovered that among the many benefits of healthy living was keeping the debilitating headaches at bay.

I overcame the pain of a herniated disc several years ago through Chiropractic care and Physical Therapy and was thankful for a relatively quick recovery that was attributed to my good physical condition and commitment, however I was extremely discouraged when I was told that my back would never be the same again.

Before I came to Monmouth Spine and Rehabilitation Center, fibromyalgia was wreaking havoc on my body. At 16 years old, I could no longer keep up with my schoolwork, or even go to school. My whole body was so tender that I could not even lay on the floor without cringing in agony. I sat lifelessly at home while my friends went out at night and had fun, because I was unableto walk far or eat normal food.

I was in constant mental and physical pain, and I was often too exhausted to even get out of bed; I felt like I was dying. Then I received a pamphlet in the mail from Monmouth Spine and Rehabilitation Center, a place that could supposedly cure me and end my suffering. This was a day that changed my life forever. My initial appointment with Dr. Dandrea gave me more hope for the future than I've had since being diagnosed at age 12. Since I have been under his care, my life has taken a 360 degree turn. I am absolutely pain free. There is not a trace of fatigue in my life; I cannot remember ever having this much energy. I can eat like a normal teenager, go out
with my friends, and I can exercise as much as I want. School is no longer an obstacle, as I am nearing an A+ average. I can once again take part in extracurricular activities and just live life as best I can. The fibromyalgia is just a memory. I am a client with Fibromyalgia, when I first came to this office 7 weeks ago I was extremely depressed, extremely sensitive not only emotionally but also to the touch. My husband said that I sounded very angry all the time yet I didn't feel I was. After a time of not feeling well I guess it all wears on you so slowly, you yourself just accept it as normal.

I used to rate my day from 1-10, 10 being a good day. After 7 weeks of treatment I have come to realize that my days that I thought were a 10 were really only a 2. The difference in how I feel is remarkable and so quickly. I'm not feeling tired at all. I'm actually sleeping on my own and the sensitivity to my body has disappeared. The bouts of diarrhea that I have had for years is gone, no matter what I eat. I feel healthy, being more aware of what I eat. I feel as though my weight is beginning to stabilize and come down. My energy level has increased incredibly.

My emotional status is definitely more at an even level, although I still may get a low, it is nothing like it was before and with treatment of chiropractic care we have almost eliminated a bad day. Before I was looking for a good hour. I can't thank the doctors at Monmouth Spine and Rehabilitation Center enough for all the care and healing they have provided me. My family and I are so grateful. If you told me six months ago that I would now be under chiropractic care, I would have said you were crazy. For two years I had various degrees of aches, pains, and fatigue-from mild to hardly being able to function. After being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I was placed under the care of a rheumatologist, who ordered many tests, but they showed nothing was wrong.

For more than a year I took an assortment of prescription drugs, none of which helped except Prednisone (but you can't take that long-term without bad side effects). It was then suggested that I see a neurologist, who prescribed anti-convulsants and anti-depressants. Again, there was no relief. When I asked why he prescribed this type of medication, he said I would not understand. "Great answer!" I thought to myself. Four months ago my daughter, Nancy, read about the doctors at Monmouth Spine and Rehabilitation Center, and the rest is history. I would say I'm about 85 percent improved, and I'm not taking any prescription drugs for my aches and pains. Thank you, Dr. Dandrea!

Before coming to Monmouth Spine and Rehabilitation Center, I felt as if my body was many years older than 36. I experienced pain from my neck to my lower back on a daily basis, which I attributed to years of poor posture carrying my two children. I was also fighting chronic sinus infections, daily headaches, migraines, and allergies.

During my consultation with Dr. Dandrea we discussed a plan of treatment which included adjustments and physical therapy, and no more medications! He assured me I'd get better, and he was right.

Going to my appointments has been a pleasure. The center is clean, spacious, and inviting. There is flexibility with scheduling, and the whole staff is always friendly and seems genuinely interested in my improvements and well being. “This was the first time I had A full night of sleep In 8 months, This brought tears to my eyes!”
I was reading the newspaper one cold winter day, in March 2004 and I came across an article about wrist pain and tingling and numbness in your fingers. I was told by plenty of doctors that I had carpal tunnel syndrome and I just had to deal with it. I took notice right away, because I was having the problem they were talking about. I had been going to the doctor for months with this problem, nothing was working, I was tired of taking pills because the pain was still coming back, so I gave them a call to see the Doctor. Let me tell you this was the best thing I could have done for myself. I went into the office for my first appointment, I met the team and they greeted me with a very pleasant smile, not once but every time I came in for my treatment. I then met with the doctor and he sat me down and explained about the tingling and numbness in my fingers, He took x-rays to show me where the problem was coming from. I was in total shock when he showed me my neck and how my nerve was causing the problem. But he also said the magic words “we can fix the problem.” I said, "ok what do I need to do to correct the problem?" He said to stick to your appointments and you will feel better in a short time. Let me tell you something - the night after my first visit I went to bed about 10:00 p.m., and slept through the whole night without getting up shaking my hands to stop the tingling and numbness. This was the first time I had a full night sleep in 8 months, this brought tears to my eyes. I am on the road to a full recovery thanks to two great Doctors and friends. I first came to your office because I was experiencing numbness and tingling in three fingers in my left hand and wrist, and I wanted to try healing it without having to have an operation. My wife and I have just completed our 36 visit program and are amazed and very pleased with the results. When we first saw your report for treating Fibromyalgia we felt that after 6 months of doctor's visits and over $10,000 in testing with no results we would try your treatment. When we started coming to you, Irene was in pain 24 hours a day and her energy level was at an all time low. She was on medication for pain and depression and slept a lot to avoid unnecessary movement.

When I began care I had a 79% loss of curvature in my neck, bad allergies, asthma, chronic back and neck pain and migraines.
